Plan your stay
Everything we are asked before people come, in one place. If your question is not here, call or write.
Arriving and leaving
- Check in from three until seven in the evening; later by arrangement, with a key left for you.
- Check out by eleven. Leave your bags with us and walk to the river.
Breakfast
- In the rate, from eight until half past nine.
- Tell us what you cannot eat when you book; we cook around it.
Parking
- Eight spaces behind the house, free, one of them van-accessible and step-free to the Garden Room.
Children and dogs
- Children of every age are welcome in the Lantern Room, which sleeps three.
- Dogs stay at the Hollin kennels a mile away; service animals are welcome in every room.
Cancelling
- Free until seven days before you arrive. After that we charge the first night unless we can let the room again.
Paying
- The first night when you book, through our booking page; the rest when you leave. We never ask for a card number by phone or email.
In the house
- No smoking anywhere inside. Quiet from ten at night until seven in the morning.
- Wi-Fi in every room; the password is on the card by your bed.
Getting here
- Two hours north of the city by the river road. Hollin station is ten minutes away by car, and we meet the 4:12 if you tell us.
