Plans and products

Everything we make, with its price: a website, a phone that is answered after hours, a chat that knows your business, an app that runs the day, and the chores done for you. Nothing down on a plan: the first month is billed on the day you watch it go live.

Begin the setup guideA few short screens. Nothing to pay until you have watched it work.

The plans

  1. 01

    The Site

A site designed from your own answers, your bookings or orders linked in, your Google profile set, hosting, and up to four changes a month.

Nothing down. Twelve months from the day it goes live, then month to month; or buy the site outright for $1,500 at any time and keep the files.

    $199 a month
  2. 02

    The Front Desk

The Site, and an assistant that answers your phone after hours and the chat on your site. It says it is an AI, takes the message or the request, and hands it to you by morning.

150 minutes of calls a month included, then 20 cents a minute. It never takes a card number, and it hands over to you whenever a caller asks.

    $299 a month
  3. 03

    The Whole House

The Front Desk, and an app on your own Mac for the day's work: requests, schedules, suppliers, approvals and a morning brief, with two automations.

Plus $1,500 to set up the app. Your records stay on your own machine.

    $449 a month
  4. 04

    Founding clients

The first ten clients pay $149 a month for The Site for their first year, and agree to be shown as our work.

A founding price for the first ten, then the plan's price.

    $149 a month

Each part on its own

  1. 05

    A website, bought outright

The same design from your own answers, yours to keep and host where you like.

Site care, if you want it, $59 a month: hosting, fixes and one change a month.

    $3,500
  2. 06

    After-hours phone cover

An assistant that answers when you cannot, says it is an AI, takes the message or the booking request, and never takes a card number.

150 minutes of calls a month included, then 20 cents a minute.

    $79 a month
  3. 07

    A chat on your site

It knows your prices, hours and rules, answers at any hour, and hands over to you whenever someone asks.

Its conversations are kept thirty days for you to read, then deleted.

    $39 a month
  4. 08

    The app

An app made for your business, on your own computer and phones; your records never leave the building.

Updates, fixes, one small change a month and a quarterly restore check from your own backup.

    $1,500, then $99 a month
  5. 09

    An automation

A chore of the day done for you: the note after a visit, a reminder before one, a reply drafted for your approval.

Nothing is billed before you have watched it run.

    $49 a month each
  6. 10

    Anything else

A 3D view of what you sell, a tool made for one job: if it can be written down and shown working, we build it.

One call to scope it, $500, credited in full to the build.

    Quoted after one call

What it looks like

Examples, made to show the work. The inn in them is invented, and so is everything in it; your site is drawn from your own answers and your own photographs.

An example website for an invented inn, Larkmoor House: its name set large beside an engraving of the house on a blue-and-white platter, and a button to check a date

A website

For an example inn, in blue-and-white glaze: the house engraved on its platter, and every room drawn to scale from its own measurements, door widths and all.

An example app on a phone for an invented inn: this morning's brief, with two guests arriving, one leaving, three rooms to turn over, and two approvals waiting for the owner

The app

For the example inn: the morning's brief, the rooms to turn over, and an order and a refund waiting for the owner's approval. Sample records.

  1. 08:02An enquiry arrives through the website's form
  2. 08:02The customer is added to the books
  3. 08:03A reply is drafted in the owner's voice
  4. 08:03It waits for the owner's approval
  5. 08:40Approved on the owner's phone; it is sent
  6. TueA follow-up, unless they answer first

An automation

One enquiry, handled: every step logged with its undo, and nothing sent in the owner's name without the owner's word.

How it goes

  1. The setup guide.

Your business in your own words, at your pace; an answer you do not know is marked unknown, never invented. It ends in a specification you read and sign.

  2. A call, twenty minutes, free.

We go through what you signed. You get a yes, or a no with its reason, in writing.

  3. The build.

From your signed specification. A reviewer who did not build it signs it fit to show you.

  4. You watch it go live.

On your own phone, at your own address. The first month is billed that day; nothing before it.

The assistant always says it is an AI, never takes a card number, and hands over to you whenever someone asks. We refuse, with the reason written: any job that needs a licence, touches health data, moves other people's money, or whose failure would be a lawsuit rather than a loss; and anything on Amazon.

Will we take it?

Five questions, a minute. If the answer to any one is yes, we would refuse the job, and the reason is written here as it would be in our letter.

  1. Does the work need a licence to do, as law, medicine or building do?It needs a licence to do. That is the first thing on our refused list, and it stays there.
  2. Does it touch anyone's health records, or could a failure hurt someone's body?It touches health or safety. A failure there is harm to a person, not a loss to a business, and we do not take that on.
  3. Would it hold or move money that belongs to other people, or could a failure end in a lawsuit rather than a loss?It carries other people's money or legal exposure. We build where a failure is a loss you can see and recover from.
  4. Does it run on Amazon: a seller account, listings, publishing, or anything on their platform? It runs on Amazon. We do not touch Amazon accounts; their rulings can close a business overnight, and no build is worth that risk to you.
  5. Do you want a do-it-yourself builder, to make or change the software yourself, rather than a finished thing that works? You want a tool to build with. We do not sell one: we build the finished thing, show it working, and hand it over.

Why monthly

After the first year you may stop at any time, and what is yours stays yours.

A good site, a phone that is answered and an app that runs the day have cost a small business thousands up front, before it saw any of them work. On a plan you pay nothing until you have watched it go live, then one monthly price that keeps it hosted, answered and up to date.
